The second edition of Mister Verano CentroAmerica 2016 (Míster Verano Centro América y del Caribe) will be held in Comayagua, Honduras on March 21-27, 2016. The first winner of the said pageant is Obed Padilla of Costa Rica.
The host city of Comayagua is some 50 miles (80 km) northwest of Tegucigalpa on the highway to San Pedro Sula at an elevation of 1,949 feet (594 m) above sea level. The city is noted for its wealth of Spanish Colonial architecture. The central square has a cathedral with the oldest clock in the America. The colonial city of Comayagua has become a national and international draw for tourism, and is on the list of The 30 Wonders of Honduras. Each week Comayagua receives almost 200 travelers interested in its colonial heritage.
