Abhishek Shah of India was awarded as “Mr Manly” at the inaugural edition of international pageant Man of The Year concluded on 20 August 2016 at the Grand Central Hotel in Pekanbaru, Indonesia.
The New Delhi based model and engineer, Abhishek was the winner of Rubaru Mister India 2016 pageant held on 24 April 2016 in Gurugram (Gurgaon), India. At the Man of the Year 2016, apart from winning the Manly award, Abhishek also secured the second position on the People’s Choice poll conducted by Missosology. The online poll was won by Mr Nepal, Sandeep Pokhrel.
This was the first edition of Man of The Year pageant. Philippines’ Karan Singhdole bested 10 other candidates from all over the world and won the main title, Man of The Year 2016. The international pageant is owned by Mr Raymond Djambek of /Indonesia. The pageant’s motto focuses of the 5 M’s which are, “Manly”, “Masterly”, “Masculine”, “Modern” and “Mindful”. The international pageant is associated with the noble cause of wildlife conservation.
