Vishnuraj Menon wins Peter England Mr India 2016!

Vishnu Raj S Menon emerged as the most stylish man in the  Peter England Mr India 2016 competition, after going through a process of grueling challenges and weeks of grooming. The handsome hunk from Bengaluru was announced by Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan in a glittering finale held in Mumbai. Other winners are Viren Barman from Delhi as first runner-up and Altamash Faraz also from Delhi was second runners-up. There were 16 shortlisted finalists from across the country making it very tough for the judges to decide whom to keep and whom to reject.

Special awards were also given like Peter England Mr Style Icon, Mr Healthy Hair, Mr Active, Mr Photogenic, Mr Perfect Body, Mr Personality, Mr Popular, Mr Talented, Best Actor and Top Model. The Peter England Mr Style Icon was won by Priyadarshani Chatterjee.

Vishnu Raj S Menon (Peter England Mr India World 2016) received a brand new style wardrobe worth `50,000. Viren Sushil Barman (1st Runner-Up) and Altamash Faraz (2nd Runner-Up) each received a style wardrobe from Peter England worth `40,000 & `30,000 respectively. Also, Peter England Mr India World 2016 received `1 lakh cash prize from the Times of India Group. The runners-up received a cash prize worth `50,000 each.

More than 10,000 men all over India participated in the auditions conducted in 4-cities covering 4 zones in the country. The search ended in a final gala attended by various renowned personalities from Bollywood and the fashion industry like like Kirti Kulhari, Sana Khan, Ankita Shorey, Adah Sharma and Freddy Daruwalla.

The finals showcased the different personalities of the sixteen finalists wearing formals with tuxedo, genius shirt, grandfather hand me down denims & Indies. Show Director Prasad Bidapa, Fashion Director Nivedita Saboo, India’s leading fashion photographer Amit Khanna and Celebrity Fitness Trainer Abbas Ali, who mentored the contestants in their journey to the coveted title, all were present in the evening.
