Pablo Fuentes will be representing Venezuela in next edition of Mr. Real Universe 2016
pageant to be held in Lima, Peru on a new schedule on Feb. 26 - March
6, 2017. The Gala Final of the pageant will be on March 5 at the Centro de Convenciones Festiva in Lima. The winner
of the second edition and the current titleholder of Mr. Real Universe
2015 is
Cristobal Alvarez Leiva of Chile. Coinciding with the pageant is the selection also of the winner of a new contest, the Mister Galan International 2017 organized also by the group of Atayhua Fashion International.
The “Mr. Real Universe” international competition is designed to select a gentleman of universal distinction, enterprise, and virtue that can represent the ideal global man. Featuring men from across the world, the pageant will include the following categories: formal wear, swimwear, interview, and national costumes to showcase pride for each participating country.

The pageant which was supposed to
be held October 12-13, 2016 was cancelled because of the emergency situation
in Miami due to "Hurricane Matthew", and wherein all flights of the
participants from Europe and Asia made connections in Miami - U.S.A to
Lima. The new dates for the pageant which will be from 26 February to 6 March
2017 was announced by Atayhua
Fashion International organization, since it was not possible to reorganize for November because of the peak
season in civil aviation and being so close to Christmas. The organizers asked understanding and good faith.
