Juan Camilo Urueña Castellanos will represent Colombia in the next edition of Mister Model International 2016 contest.The 4th edition of Mister Model International Pageant will take place in India on November 20, 2016 where Melvin Roman, the Mister Model International 2015, will crown his new successor at the end of the show.
Juan Camilo Urueña Castellanos, representing Norte de Santander, won the title of Mr. World Colombia 2016 last June 4, 2016 but for various reasons he was not able to participate in the Mr. World 2016 contest held in Southport, England.
He is 23 years old and stands 6 feet tall. Juan Camilo was born on May 18, 1993 in Cúcuta in the north of Santander where he completed the 6th semesters of the Bachelor of Social Communications and Journalism at the Corporación Unificada de Educación Superior, CUN. He is also a Technical Sports Training Graduate of the Centro Tecnológico de Cucutá.
He started modeling at the age of 9. A few years ago, he signed up to the agency Class Fashion Models de John Franco who encouraged him to participate in the Mr . World Norte De Santander 2016 contest, which gives it the right to participate in the national finals of Mr. World Colombia 2016 which was held in conjunction with the contest of Miss Colombia 2016 in the town of Ibagué in Tolima.
During the Mr. World Colombia contest, 15 participants had to perform in casual clothes, fantasy costumes, bathing suit and in formal attire. Juan Camilo Urueña won also the prize for the Best Fantasy Costume and the award of Mr. Bodytech Best Body aside from winning the major title of Mr. World Colombia 2016.
