Javier Riefkohl is one of the finalists for the Mister International Puerto Rico 2017 contest which will select the official representatives of the country in various international male competitions such as
Mister International, Mister Global, Mister Universal Ambassador,
Mister Model International and Top International Male Model of the
World.
Puerto Rico is considered as a powerhouse country for male pageants. Christian Ortiz won the very first title of Mister Universal Ambassador 2015 in Indonesia while Melvin Roman is the current Mister Model International 2015 who will relinquish the title this November in New Delhi, India. Fernando Alvarez almost won the Mister World 2016 by placing first runner-up after participating in Mister International 2015 held in Manila, Philippines.
