Rede Carney: Mister Universal Ambassador Australia 2016

Rede Carney will be representing Australia in the 2nd edition of Mister Universal Ambassador 2016 which will be held in the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia sometime on September 21st-30th 2016.  Bali is considered the second best island according to New York-based Leisure & Travel magazine. Christian Daniel Ortiz of Puerto Rico, Mister Universal Ambassador 2015, will transfer the title to the next winner.

Rede is 27 years old and stands at 1.83m. He is a teacher, personal trainer and model.

My name is Rede Carney and I was born in Subiaco, Western Australia. I quickly moved to Sydney where I have lived my whole life. My mother’s parents were both born in India in Delhi and this is where I receive my skin tan from, I would very much like to go and visit the beautiful country of India. My father’s parents were both Australian and that is where I got my blue eyes from. I am currently 26 years old and stands 6’1″-tall.

I love to stay active and have been surfing since I was about 8 years old and developed a love for the ocean still surfing each week to this day. I love to train at the gym and this is where I developed a love for fitness and caring for your long-term health. I have recently been getting more extreme and started snowboarding in 2013 where I went to countries such as Canada and Japan to visit their amazing mountains. 

I developed a love for helping people during primary school and always wanted to be a teacher and in 2011 received my Bachelor of Primary Education after 4 years of study at Notre Dame University Australia. 

I approached some modelling agencies in my mid teens but was turned away and later went back in my early 20′s signing with one of the top agencies in Australia- Scoop Model Management. I was once very nervous about being a model and doing something completely different but once I got to work with name’s such as Men’s Health, Nike and David Jones I never looked back. 

I started my own Personal Training business in mid 2015, helping people to get moving and to achieve their fitness goals and gain confidence in themselves. I have started boxing and competed in my first amateur fight mid this year. I love new challenges! 

I am looking forward this year to giving back to the community and getting involved in charity events. I am very passionate about anti-bullying and reducing Australia’s growing obesity rates. We are so lucky to live in such a great country with access to great foods, health care and much more so I would like to educate Australian’s on how to stay active and enjoy being active.

 

I am looking forward to using Mr Universal Ambassador as a platform to give back to my community and looking forward to representing Australia in Bali.

Mister Universal Ambassador is a contest which present a Challenging Pageant Period and Competitive Final Night. For this year event, all contestants will be evaluated based on following competitions :

WORLD SPEECH CONTEST, This year theme is “Embracing Unity Beyond Diversity”. 50+Contestants will join our early audition since only 10 best speakers will perform in front of the public in a National University. This is one of the major session of this contest.

UNIVERSAL FASHION FESTIVAL, Where all contestant will show off their modeling skills by presenting some wardrobes. There are three sessions of this fashion show : Formal Wear, Swimwear ans Casual Fashion

TALENT SHOW, Technic and Starring factors are very important in this session

SPORT COMPETITION, This year is all about Beach Sports

PORTOFOLIO PRESENTATION, we will work with the winner for 1 year that we need to know them one by one through their portofolio which consist of : Their lifetime achievment, media coverage, integrity project, and healthy lifestyle. The judges of this session is all contestants them selves.
