Panama's Marlon Polo wins Men Universe Model 2016 title!


Marlon Steven Polo (Marlon Polo Lm) of Panama is the big winner in the just concluded Men Universe Model 2016 (Mister Universe 2016) held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. He edged out heavy favorite Luis Domingo Baez of Venezuela who ended up as first runner-up in an exciting finale held July 15, 2016. Luis Baez earlier won the title of Best Body in the said competition, one of the biggest international male pageants in the world. Marlon succeeded Men Universe Model 2015 Rogier Warnawa of Netherlands.

Marlon also won the Best in National Costume. He is 23 years old, 6 feet tall and comes from Colon, a Panamanian city and sea port beside the Caribbean Sea. He is a professional model who studied Nutrition and works in a TV show in Panama.


The other winners were: 2nd runner-up - Victor Manuel Alcantara of Dominican Republic; 3rd runner-up - Micahel Cheverez of Puerto Rico; 4th runner-up - Oswaldo Ramos of Colombia and 5th runner-up - Adrian Krzyzansk of Poland.

Mister Brazil (Breno Luis) won as Mister Photogenic while Mister Ecuador (David Manzoh)  won the Mister Amistad (Friendship) award.
