The 29-year-old Jason Ganesan of Sabah won the Mister Universal Ambassador Malaysia 2016 title during the finals held at Soluxe Hotel Putatan, Sabah on 23rd July 2016. Timothy Ong Shu Wei, 25, placed 1st Runner-up while NurErfan Hanif finished 2nd Runner-up. The 6 feet tall half-Filipino, half-Indian Jason was also named last year as Sabah Model of The Year 2015 grand winner. His mother is from Zamboanga City, Philippines. He works as a technician in an oil company.
