Roland William De Dios will be participating in the search for Gentlemen of the Philippines 2016. He is from Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. Roland is 25 years old and stands 6 feet tall. Currently, he is taking up Political Science at the Phinma Araullo University where
he is part of the Debate Club and Captain of the Basketball team in his
college. He is a serious gym buff who used to compete in several
athletic events like marathon, shot put and javelin throw before
semi-retiring from the sport. He represented the Philippines in Mister
Campus World 2013 and was adjudged as 1st runner-up.
The Gentlemen of the Philippines 2016, introduced by Gentlemen Charities Incorporated (GCI), seeks to find the best and the brightest
young men who are career and advocacy-driven and can represent the country in
various international contests abroad, namely Mister Model International 2016
(New Delhi), Mister Tourism International 2017 (Panama City), Mister Universal
Ambassador 2016 (Bali), Mister Worldwide Competition 2016 (Orlando, Florida)
and the first-ever Mister Tourism World (Bali). The pageant's Grand Launching
took place last February 27 at The Hub in Rizal Park, Manila.
The period of actual competition will be
from July 22-30, 2016, with some pre-pageant activities scheduled a week or two
ahead of the week-long culmination that will have its tentative finals venue at
The Eye of Green Sun Hotel in Makati City on July 30.
