Lucas Montandon: Mister World Brazil 2016


Lucas Montandon will represent Brazil in the next edition of Mister World 2016. There is no definite schedule yet but the venue will be in Cardiff, Wales. During the Mister World 2014, Brazil was represented by Reinaldo Dalcin. Brazil has won one Mister World title in 2003 courtesy of Gustavo Gianetti.

The Mister World competition is a male beauty pageant sponsored by the Miss World Organization. The competition is biennial and was founded in 1996. The entrants compete in various activities including waterskiing, mountain biking, and marathon running. The current Mister World is Nicklas Pedersen of Denmark who was crowned on June 15, 2014 in Torbay, England. Traditionally, Mister World lives in London during his reign.

Lucas Montandon was Mister Brazil 2014. He passed the title of Mister Brazil to Anderson Tomazini, who competed in the Mister International 2015 contest held in Manila last November 2015 and won as first runner-up to Pedro Mendes of Switzerland. He was the third Lucas to win the Mister Brazil pageant after Lucas Gil (2007) and Lucas Malvacini (2011).
