Keith Karuhuura: Mister Africa International 2015/16


Keith Karuhuura of Uganda won the title of Mister Africa International 2015/16 in the finals held last January 24, 2016 in Lagos, Nigeria. Keith takes over from Arnaldo Jose of Angola. Ghana’s Ian Wordi  placed second  and Rwanda’s Moses Turahirwa placed third position.

Keith Karuhuura is a Ugandan male model who has been nominated to represent the country in the Mr Africa International being the Mister Ideal Uganda 2015. He also doubles as Mister Ideal Earth Uganda.

“Ugandans should learn to support their local brands because it is only then that we get to make a name as a nation in other countries,” Keith said as he asked Ugandans to follow the events online before the competition. Keith, who had to quit his job as the marketing manager at Kabalagala-based Club Cyclone, has since been at the forefront of top city events like Mavuno Yetu, RTV and Rising Star Awards as an MC. As the new Mr. Africa International, he will encourage young Africans to start up their own business through the Young Entrepreneurs in Africa (YEA!) program. He will further raise money for at least one new African Start up business. He will also land an international modelling contract.

Mister Africa International is a male fashion competition which was founded by Ayotunde ‘Twitch’ Fabamwo in an effort to empower young Africans and raise money for charity. The Mister Africa International is the biggest black male fashion competition in the world , and the fastest growing male pageant in the world and as such has the sexiest black men in the world compete but for a reason! 



Top ten : Nigeria, Togo, Mr Fashion Africa, Seychelles, Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana, Angola, Cape Verde, and Benin Republic
Top 5 : Nigeria, Angola, Uganda, Rwanda, and Ghana.

The event had celebrities like Pencil , Denrele , Selebobo and Ubi Franklin in attendance.
