Here is a short interview with Jerome:

What made you decide to join the competition?
I joined Misters of Pilipinas because I really want to showcase that true beauty is all about working with the given. It is by loving our own ethnicity and heritage. Being a Filipino as written in the books of Hekasi, Sibika and Araling Panlipunan. I want Filipinos to love their own skin color, round eyes, flat nose and round forehead. People don’t need to recreate themselves for Kayumanggi is the color of our country.
How do you feel about being selected as one of the official candidates of Misters of Pilipinas 2015?
I am really overwhelmed. All my life, I have been dreaming of having a legacy. All I wanted was to experience the life of a model and God gave me the gift which is more than I have asked for. I feel really privileged since this is an opportunity to meet new friends and to learn more life skills with my fellow candidates.
How are you preparing yourself for the competition?
I came from Claret Football Team and became a UP Maroons Football team from 2003-2008. I learned so much about the value of everything is hard-earned. To give time and to work really hard as for the right time the fruits of your labor will blossom. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step accdg to the saying. I am working double time for the things I lack, like experience, character and of course exercise.
How do you want to be remembered as a candidate in the competition (or what tagline do you prefer to describe yourself)?
My dream is to leave a legacy in this world. To serve as an inspiration to others. I am not naturally handsome as others but I see to it that to work with the given is what makes life sweeter. Talent vs. Hardwork.  A Talented man has naturally gifted skills, while a hardworking person will do double time to make up with the absence of that talent.

If you win one of the titles at stake, how will you do the following:
a) promote yourself as an individual who can be a role model for others.
First and foremost, it is not for me to tell that I would win for you guys will be the judge but if given the chance, I would like to promote myself as a Filipino who is proud of his own bloodline, features and culture. Hindi hadlang ang pagkakaroon ng kayumangging balat, bilog na mata, pangong ilong at makapal na labi. Ang pagiging Pilipino ay napatutungkol sa karakter at takot sa Diyos.
b) promote the Philippines as a country?
To promote Philippines is simply to show our Flag. Every Color of the Flag, from Blue to Red to white and Yellow have their own lineages of spirit, culture and nationalism. Promoting Philippines is not limited to the nature attractions but it is by living with the People whose hearts are filled with hospitality, loyalty and much compassion even to people from different parts of the world.
