Zhavi Lay Schmidt: Men Universe Model Puerto Rico 2015

"Its not easy to talk about yourself but to start of my Name is Zhavi Lay, I am 19 years of age and was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico! I am a very passionate person. My father was one of the pioneers in the sport of kite surfing, which has developed myself in different ways such as the discipline it requires, the amazing adrenaline that runs through your veins when you are cruising through the water, its incredible!! I have also had the opportunity to participate in teaching people with syndrome of a down and autism a recreational activity using the adapted sport of surfing. It is "out of this world", to see the smiling face of those people that did not think they could enjoy a fun sport because of some discapacitation. I feel honored to show what I am passionate about to this amazing community in Puerto Rico!! My parents always taught me when I was younger to give and to receive, I have received the blessing of representing my origin country to the world and I want to give the credit to all those people who have influenced in me and to those who don't believe in them. I want to positively impact the lives of many people around the world by demonstrating that it doesn't take much to achieve anything. The ‪foundation‬ is believing in yourself! Towards ‪#‎my_preparation‬ for Men Universe Model I have been practicing projections, runway and in photography, presenting in public, auto presenting, interviews, diets, workouts, self-developing, and most important how to give back to the community. Also one of the characteristics that best describes me is that i am always ‎trying to help others‬, I believe that to ‪become a leader‬, you have to put yourself in the students position and guide them through, that way you become their influence! Thanks so much for your determination with the beauty pageant world! I am truly new to this and I am loving the experience from the beggining.
